Dig Like Kim is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to deserving high school volleyball players who need help to further develop their skills and improve exposure. Accordingly, the organization will award a limited number of grants to select applicants toward achieving this goal. Grant fund availability is dependent on donations and fund raising events.
Kimberly Latshaw-Ortiz was a tremendous supporter and advocate of helping kids and the community! Her efforts through teaching and coaching impacted countless lives and she wanted to continue making that impact. Her legacy lives on through her kids, her family, friends, and the volleyball community, as well as through Dig Like Kim!

This year's Tournament saw over 236 volleyball players competing on the new 3 sand courts and 6 grass courts. We topped out at a total of 44 teams. Four food trucks provided a variety of hot food from breakfast thru the afternoon and a DJ updated the spectators on scores and activities, and rocked tunes all day.

The Fourth Annual (2024) Dig Like Kim Tournament grew to 44 teams with 13 teams on the sand courts, 20 recreational teams on the grass courts and 9 U-14 teams on grass .

Based on fundraising Dig Like Kim was able to increase the value of awards to $19,000this year. Winners represented 14 different high schools and a variety of volleyball clubs.
